FAQs

What kinds of tattoo designs are available?

We have a vast selection of tattoo designs to choose from that will ignite your imagination and inspire future tattoos. Our collection includes renowned American traditional designs by artists such as Sailor Jerry, Ed Hardy, Mike “rollo banks” Malone, and Lee Roy Minugh, among others. We also offer options for tribal tattoos, Japanese tattooing, black and gray tattoos, Celtic tattoos, religious tattoos, and unique designs, and tattoo cover ups in Houston that will surprise and delight you.

Can I bring my own tattoo design?

Absolutely! Feel free to bring any reference or design ideas you have for your tattoo. Our talented tattoo artists can work directly from your design or create a one-of-a-kind custom tattoo at our Houston shop that perfectly suits your vision.

Can you fix or cover up an existing tattoo?

External threading on body jewelry features sharp threads that can potentially damage your piercing during installation or jewelry changes. In contrast, internal threading on barbells offers a smooth surface, allowing for easy insertion and removal without harming the body piercing.

Can you fix or cover up an existing tattoo?

Certainly! We have experience in covering up or reworking old tattoos. Please contact our Houston tattoo cover up specialists to discuss your ideas with our skilled tattoo artists, as certain tattoos are better suited for cover-ups than others.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Tattoo prices vary depending on several factors. Our shop minimum is $80, and larger tattoos, such as full arm tattoos or pieces of that size, are typically priced by the hour at our rate of $150 per hour. As with any reputable tattoo shop, a similar fee structure is in place.

Do you offer a guarantee for your tattoo work?

Yes, we guarantee our tattoo work. If, after the healing process, your tattoo requires a touch-up, simply visit the shop and discuss it with your tattoo artist. They will take care of it for you.

Are your tattooing equipment and materials sterile?

We maintain strict sterilization practices for all tattoo equipment that can be sterilized. Additionally, all tattoo ink used during the tattooing process is single-use, and any remaining ink is disposed of properly.

Can I receive a tattoo quote over the phone or internet?

To provide you with an accurate tattoo design price, we require an in-person consultation at our shop. We do not give quotes over the phone or internet. However, we can share our minimum and hourly rates to give you a general idea.

What is the minimum age requirement for getting a tattoo?

In Texas, state law mandates that individuals must be 18 years or older to get a tattoo.

Do I need an appointment for a tattoo?

While appointments are not necessary for most tattoo designs, we can accommodate your schedule by setting up an appointment. Walk-ins are always welcome! To schedule a tattoo appointment, visit our shop and speak with the tattoo artist of your choice. They will reserve a future date and time for your tattoo and require a $50 deposit, which will be deducted from the final tattoo price.

How experienced are your tattoo artists?

All our tattoo artists have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field. Experience plays a vital role in delivering the best tattooing outcomes. With our artists’ expertise, positive reviews, and portfolios showcasing vibrant colors, clean lines, and impeccable shading, you can trust that you’ll receive the best possible tattoo.

What if I'm allergic to latex?

If you have a latex allergy, please inform your tattoo artist. They will use non-latex alternatives, such as nitrile gloves, to ensure your safety and comfort during the tattooing process.

Do your tattoo artists specialize in specific art styles?

Our tattoo artists are versatile and skilled in a wide range of tattoo styles. Whether you desire a delicate butterfly tattoo on your foot or a grand traditional tattoo sleeve, we can bring your vision to life. From tribal arm bands to Japanese koi leg tattoos, you’re in the right tattoo shop to fulfill your artistic preferences.

Do you reuse tattoo needles?

Absolutely not. Our tattoo needles are sterile and designed for single use only. After each tattoo session, the needles are placed into a sharps container and collected by a medical waste company for appropriate disposal.
